Nano Polymer Adhesive Bed Prep From Vision Miner

This is a world-class bed prep adhesive designed for use while printing high-temp polymers but it also works great for engineering and general purpose grades.Ā  Apply on the entire build surface or just in problem areas to cure lift.

Product attributes include:

  • High-temp resistant for printing PEKK, PEEK, PPSU, PSU, PPS, andĀ Ultemā„¢ PEI
  • Excellent adhesion to more common materials including PC, PC/ABS, ABS, ASA, PLA, PETG, NYLON, TPU, etcā€¦
  • Made from non-toxic organic compounds
  • Easy to clean and reapply
  • Adheres well to many build surfaces, including borosilicate glass, ceramic glass, PCB board, Carbon Fiber, Fiberglass, Aluminum, BuildTakā„¢, PEI, and more.

Package includes a 100ml bottle of Nano Polymer Adhesive and an applicator brush.

Instructions for use:

  • Clean build surface with water/soap, Windex, alcohol
  • Apply adhesive evenly on the build surface
  • Print part
  • Remove part ā€“ instructions below.

Part removal:

  • Low temp materials (under 300Ā°C):Ā Ā When youā€™re extruding below 300ĀŗC, generally you can remove the part as soon as the plate cools. With materials like PLA or PETG, it usually pops itself off the plate. If it sticks too much, you can apply water around the base of the part, which will help it release.
  • Tech Tip for Using ABS on Glass:Ā Ā ABS contracts very quickly when it cools; because of this, the risk of chipping, chunking, or breaking glass is higher with ABS. We recommend using Kapton Tape, PEI, or some other type of protective surface on top of the glass and then applying this adhesive when printing ABS.
  • High temp materials (over 300Ā°C):Ā Ā When youā€™re extruding over 300ĀŗC, remove the part as quickly as possible. You want the buildplate and part to be HOT when you remove it.Ā  We have seen many high-temp materials contract very quickly when cooling causing the glass to break in a very short period of time.
